The painting "Santos de Talla" from spanish painter Jos� Gutierrez SOLANA has inspired me various approaches to damaged and almost disintegrated vintage or ancient carved saints. This old Christ figure, based on the traditional iconography of the Man of Sorrows, explores the signs of the damage of an gothic original sculpture as echoes of the suffering and humanity features (as corruptibility) of the biblical Jesus.
