Artist's Description

Pastel on wood, in process; a representation inspired by a biblical passage from Ezekiel in the Valley of the Dry Bones. The drawing is composed as a collage from various scenes and elements (figures by Signorelli, Corrado Cagli or Gaetano Zumbo, among others) that give the image, along with a textural treatment of the surface, a certain aspect of disintegration that we believe suits the theme. We want to see the influence at times of some of the primitive Italian master muralists, although perhaps it is only a pretense on our part.
