Following the traditional way of the "picture inside the box", this piece is a sincere tribute to the painting of James Ensor, one of my most revered artists. In the art open book, there´s a depiction of the painting entitled The Intrigue, which has, like many other works of the miracolous belgian painter, the mask as absolute protagonist.
